In the app

Chat inference, image understanding, and speech recognition run on your Mac. Conversations and settings are stored locally. Models are downloaded separately or registered from matching local files. File tools operate within the folder access you grant; new grants start read-only.

Ordinary conversations and managed images are not encrypted by Minutus. Wallet vaults use the app password; API keys and custom RPC settings use separate Keychain storage. Debug builds can retain sensitive local tool traces. Deleting a conversation is not secure erasure.

Model downloads contact model hosts. Web retrieval contacts the approved destination; search sends approved queries to Brave and requires your API key. The optional wallet uses RPC services for balances and transactions, including automatic queries when an unlocked wallet is opened. Public addresses and transaction details can reach those services.

x402 services receive the approved URL, any JSON body, and the payment authorization needed for a purchase. Outbound requests and payments have separate native approval. Manual update checks contact minutus.ai when update verification is configured.

On this website

The site uses no advertising trackers, analytics cookies, or browser analytics SDK. Hosting providers process request information, including IP addresses, to deliver content and protect the service.

Source downloads

Source archives and repository links are served by GitHub. This website does not count source downloads or set download-tracking cookies. GitHub handles those requests under its privacy statement.
